Congratulations to our students that were chosen by their teachers for a positive shout out this week! We love to recognize these students for their kindness and positive PRIDE behaviors! We thank them for being leaders and role models at Thomas Jefferson! The students names were announced on the announcements on Friday and their name will be displayed on the bulletin board outside of the office on our shout out board.

We are so thankful for all of our virtual teachers in the district. This week we would like to feature the teachers that are working out of Thomas Jefferson and teaching virtually every day.

These teachers are rockstars! They have worked hard to engage students virtually all year long. They have learned many new strategies and tools and we are thankful for all that they have done this school year. We have many virtual teachers that work throughout the district, but we are lucky to have these teachers in our building every day!

It is not too early to begin thinking about the next school year. Save yourself some time and money and consider ordering your child's school supplies ahead of time. Jefferson Elementary offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2021/2022 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by our school.

Your student’s order will be in the classroom on the first day of school.

This past week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. Our wonderful PTO surprised all of our teachers and staff with treats all week. It very much appreciated by of us at Thomas Jefferson. Thank you to all of those on our PTO that made the week so special! We thank all of our staff at Thomas Jefferson and appreciate all that they do for our students!

The buy-one-get-one book fair is scheduled for Friday, May 14th during the school day. This is a one-day-only opportunity. Students can shop during the school day at their convenience. We will also have evening hours for you to shop from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Masks will be required and social distancing will be in place.

The orders are in and the flower pick-up date is scheduled for Monday, May 17th at Jefferson Elementary. You may pick up your orders in the Safety Town area between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 pm. The PTO is looking for volunteers to help out on that day. If you are able to help for even a little bit of time, it would be greatly appreciated. Check out the link below to sign up for a time slot.
