An Extraordinary Place To Learn
A Message From Principal Wilson
We are off to an extraordinary start this school year. Can you believe it is already September? I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our parents for sending our scholars to school on time and prepared to learn everyday. We have completed most of our diagnostic assessments and are now really ready to dive even deeper into the curriculum.
Our goal is to meet each student at their current level in order to support their academic growth. Our teachers have been busy analyzing student data and planning alongside our instructional coaches to make sure that rigorous instruction is consistent throughout the building across grade levels.
I try to capture as much as I can to share our great work on Twitter. For those of you who are not following us, please join us on Twitter @RandolphDolphin for daily updates on the extraordinary things our teachers and scholars are doing here.
Extraordinary customer service is one of our primary goals here at Randolph, and that includes meeting the needs of our parents. I appreciate those of you who have shared your concerns with me and I have worked diligently to address each one. Feel free to contact me via phone or email, or schedule a meeting should you have a need that is not being met. It is always my pleasure to support each of you.
I hope everyone enjoys the Labor Day holiday, and I look forward to seeing all of my Dolphins when they return on Tuesday!
In Partnership,
Principal Wilson, Proud Dolphin

A message from our PTA President
Dear Parents:
We survived another awesome week at AP RANDOLPH! Give ourwonderful students and staff and a round of applause!
Every year, our PTA helps to oversee the needs and development of the school. We help raising funds to provide a wide range of educational enrichment programs to our students. The money we raise help to fund class trips to all grades, books, classroom supplies, and a lot more. During the past years, the PTA has provided learning opportunities that would have otherwise been unavailable to our children. As the new school year begins, we would once again ask for your support so that we can continue making resource and learning opportunities available to our children.
While dues are not required for membership, the PTA depends on your annual voluntary donations to keep all sorts of wonderful things happening for the children of A. Philip Randolph. If you choose not to make any voluntary donations, we still appreciate your involvement and your time contributed to support our school. Please fill out the form and make your check payable to Randolph PTA and return it to your child’s teacher (see attachment below) or or clicking the link here --> https://randolphpta.memberhub.store for instant membership.
If you have more than one child at this school, please list all your children’s names and classes on one form.
Again, Thank you and have a fabulous weekend and a safe Labor Day!
Sincerely,
Renee Young-Johnson, PTA President

Code of Conduct
Randolph is a Title I School
What is Title I?
Title I is a federally funded program designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic standards and state academic assessments.
The Title I program focuses on the academic needs of the most disadvantaged students.
There are 60 schools operating Title I programs in the Fulton County School System for the 2018-2019 school year.
Be on the lookout for parent engagement activities through our Title I parent liaisons office.
