LISD Families,
It has been such a joy to see students and staff dressed up to promote kindness all week. Seeing everyone in their team’s jerseys yesterday made one thing clear - I am so glad to be a part of Team LISD!
At Monday night's board meeting, the LISD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution regarding the lack of increase in per student funding since 2019 by the state of Texas. Read more about that resolution in the Board Bulletin below.

Bond + VATRE 2023
The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees recently voted unanimously to include a Bond Election and a Voter Approval Tax Rate Ratification Election (VATRE) on the November 7 ballot. Visit LISDBond.com to learn more about the seven propositions included on the ballot. To find out what projects for your campus are included in the bond proposal, visit LISDbond.com/projects.
If you are part of a group (large or small) or local organization and would like to have an LISD representative host an information session about the upcoming LISD election, contact us at bond@lisd.net to schedule a session.
The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 10, early voting runs from Oct. 23 through Nov. 3, and Election Day is Nov. 7.

Board Meeting Recap
The Board of Trustees met for the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, Sept. 11.
School resource officers and other first responders in attendance were recognized in honor of Patriot Day, multiple campuses were recognized for being named National PTA Schools of Excellence, and students from Bridlewood Elementary School led the Pledge of Allegiance. Board Resolution | School Funding
At Monday night's board meeting, the LISD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution regarding the lack of increase in per student funding since 2019 by the state of Texas. A resolution is a formal approval or disapproval of a specific topic that the Board cannot vote on because it is handled by another jurisdiction. READ MORE.

Lewisville ISD Board Finalizes Single-Member Districts, At-Large Seats

Denton County Appraisal Review Board | Accepting Member Applications
The Taxpayer Liaison Officer at Denton Central Appraisal District (DCAD) is now accepting applications for the Denton County Appraisal Review Board (ARB). The ARB is a board of citizens that determines taxpayer protests of property appraisals made by the Denton CAD.
