October is National Bullying Prevention Month!
October is National Bullying Prevention Month and was founded in the United States in 2006 by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center. The campaign unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.
This year, our district will be joining participants nationwide by recognizing Unity Day on October 18, 2023. On this day, our school community is encouraged to wear Orange to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
Devices at School
We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation in our efforts to create a focused learning environment. To maintain a distraction-free school day, we kindly request that students keep their cell phones and personal technological devices like smart watches in their backpacks during school hours. This policy helps ensure that our students can fully engage in their education and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Thank you for your support in helping us provide the best educational experience for our students.

From Nurse Emily
Although each child should have an extra set of clothes in their backpack, there are still cases when clothes are needed in the health room, especially elastic waistband pants and leggings. If you have any to donate that your kids have outgrown, they would be appreciated.

Construction Ahead
The I-5 Mounts Road to Steilacoom-DuPont Road Corridor Improvements projects began in August.
If you’ve driven Interstate 5 recently, chances are you’ve seen new orange construction signs, shifted
lanes and construction activity by exit 119/Steilacoom-DuPont Road.
WSDOT wants travelers to know what is happening and the work hours they will see lane or ramp
closures. The online open house will be updated throughout the life of the project. Here are the links:
