Principal's Message to Hornet Families for the week of August 2nd, 2021
We are excited to safely return to another G.R.E.A.T school year at KMS. We are following the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention guidance in some areas and not so much in other areas. Just below this message are some of our safety protocols to ensure a safe return to school. This list is not exhaustive and is being amended daily due to updates with the COVID 19 pandemic. We are observing changes at the state, national, and district level. We are following the science and using our best judgement to keep our school community safe. Keeping all those things in mind, we are still challenging ourselves to provide a G.R.E.A.T learning experience for each member of our school community and staff. In this newsletter we also mention ways we are supporting our students socially & emotionally as well. We will educate the whole child. We are striving for growth for everyone this year, students, staff, and families. We will pull together and support each other in this effort. Our mantra for the year is "P.N.P - Progress Not Perfection". We may not be perfect but we will be better than we were yesterday!
#BEGREATmentality.
