Valentine Party Information
On Wednesday, February 14, grades K-4 will participate in Valentine's Day Parties. Our HPE PTA has worked very hard to coordinate the event. Students will participate in activities in the gym and they will also have a snack in their classroom. REMINDER per our LSR7 handbook School PTAs are responsible for the organization of Fall/October and Valentine's Day parties. These celebrations are designed for currently enrolled R-7 elementary students. Infants, preschool, middle school and/or high school students are not allowed in classrooms/gym during celebration times.
Our 5th grade students are going skating on this day instead of the classroom parties.
Students may pass out Valentine's in their classroom. Remember to have one for each student. Valentine's CAN NOT contain any CANDY or FOOD ITEMS. We have many allergies in our buildling and we want to ensure safety for all of our students.
School Store Update
Thanks to all the families who are participating in our SchoolStore fundraiser! Sign-up anytime (schoolstore.com), and as you and your family and/or friends shop, HPE will continue to reap percentages of proceeds.
We were informed that 56% of our student body is participating in one capacity or another :) AND, we have raised nearly $700 in just over 1 week.
The program is open/live through December 31.
Thanks for your support with this opportunity to bolster our special activities' fund! HPE is the best school, and HPE Huskies are top notch students!
