SEPTEMBER 2024
Director's Message
Welcome Back returning Wee Wuns families, and a very warm welcome to all our new students! For those of you I have not had the opportunity to meet, my name is Amy Camp, and I am the Director here at Wee Wuns. I am honored to work at Wee Wuns, as it is the place I started my education as a child many years ago.
We have been busy with all the back-to-school preparations and we are ready to welcome the students. I am so excited for the first day of school to be here! As an educator, and even now as an administrator I still get nervous and excited for the first day of school. We are all eager to welcome your students to campus!
Based on feedback from our family survey last year, instead of a formal parent orientation meeting, we prepared a slide presentation for parents with some highlights from our handbook. We hope you find time to review it. You can also find a copy of the handbook online, HANDBOOK | wee-wuns (weewuns.org)
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
A reminder to preschool parents to bring your child through carline on the first day of school. This will help students establish schedules and routines. You are welcome to come inside after dropping off to check on your child or snap a photo. Carline will take a little longer the first week or so, as the kids learn the routines and procedures.
We hope you had a wonderful summer and we are looking forward to kicking off the 2024-2025 year!

Get with God for Preschool
Summer was amazing! I got to travel and have some good time with my 3 boys and husband, but I am so excited to be back at Wee Wuns with some routine and all of my precious little faces!
This year we will be working our way through the Bible from the beginning! So this month we will start with learning what the Bible and prayer is.
We will learn Bible Stories: Creation, Adam and Eve, and Noah and the Ark.
We will sing: "The B-I-B-L-E", "The Shrink Song" by Little Praise Party , and "Pray About Everything" by Rob Biegi from GROUP VBS.
Our memory verse this month is “God saw everything He had made and it was very good.” Gen 1:31
Some things to do at home :
While driving ask you child to name all of the things he or she can see that God made.
Take a trip to the zoo and talk about the Ark- how big it was to hold the animals and look at all the varieties of animals!
