Message from PTA President ~ Whitney Parks
Hi Safety Harbor Families,
The PTA is looking forward to this month and the many events we have for our SHES family!
On Thursday February 8th we have Mornings with Moms at 7:55am in the media center!
On Friday February 9th we have our beloved Jog-a-thon! Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help this event run smoothly (no pun intended).
On Tuesday February 13th we will be holding a General Meeting from 5-5:30pm in the auditorium prior to the Kindergarten Performance and Art Show. We would love to see everyone there to discuss our vision as the PTA board with you. We will be discussing our ideas to help enhance our school and the lives of our children. Please come be a part of the discussion and meet the current board members.
We look forward to a wonderful 2024!
Thank you,
Whitney Parks
Message from Jessica Lovett ~ Family & Community Liasion
As we head into spring there will be many opportunities to volunteer around the school. If you are not already registered to volunteer, please click here to complete the registration. Volunteering, whether in the classroom, office, media center, or even at home makes a huge difference.
We are always looking for mentors to join our Lunch Pals program. Lunch Pal mentors meet once a week or every other week with their student mentee during their lunch time. Mentoring is a great way to make a difference in a child’s life. To become a mentor, you must be a registered volunteer first, and then take a 1-hour mentor workshop. To sign up for a mentor workshop please use this link, Mentor Workshop.
As always, reach out with any questions you may have about volunteering, or becoming a mentor.
