For Kids & Families:

Dear Fincastle Families,

We encourage you to use the resources below to talk with your children throughout the week. This information comes from Lifeway's The Gospel Project curriculum, which we use in Sunday School and Children's Church. The Memory Verse and Big Picture Question will last for the entire unit (4-6 weeks). If you have younger children, feel free to shorten or simplify these into manageable concepts. The Lesson and Bible Reading will be new every week.

Memory Verse: The Lord—the Lord is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth, maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin. Exodus 34:6-7

Big Picture Question: What is mercy?

Mercy is when God does not give us the punishment that we deserve.
