Each October, National Principals Month recognizes the hard work and essential role Principals play in education. Principals are educators and leaders who inspire students, teachers, and staff every day. They offer support and are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all students.

For the safety of all of our Cardinals, medications cannot be sent to school with your student. All medications must be dropped off by an adult directly to the nurses during school hours.
Each and every day our students participate in various physical activities at school including P.E. and recess. Students are strongly encouraged to wear sneakers that tie or Velcro to keep the shoe securely on the child's foot during these activities.
Cristian Gomez is constantly following the rules on the carpet and listening attentively to the teacher. He helps redirect his friends and is an excellent role model for other friends to follow. This is also true for when he walks in the hallway. He is always aware of his surroundings and on task. Cristian deserves the spotlight because he is a fantastic cardinal with exceptional character!
Mrs. Monica Combee is one of our Kinder teachers who always goes above and beyond for our campus. Since arriving to Menchaca she has been a welcome addition and hit the ground running. Mrs. Combee leads our campus activities committee, where their Grandparent’s Day event was a huge success. She shines day in and out of her classroom, by providing a learning environment where all her students excel in their learning and her willingness to always lend a helping hand to any staff member in need. Mrs. Combee, we are so happy that you are a part of our Menchaca Family!
