Happy Friday Raptor Families!

These short weeks just seem to fly by! Middle school is now in their second quarter. Boys basketball has started and we enjoyed hosting our first home game this past Wednesday.

We have several events at Thunder Valley next week. On Monday, October 23rd, our boys basketball team is playing Trail Ridge Middle School after school. At 5:30PM, we have our 5th grade concert in the auditorium. Finally, on Monday, we are hosting our Middle School Open House from 6:00-7:00PM. On Wednesday, October 25th, we have our PTA meeting at 4:00PM. We look forward to connecting with you throughout the week.

Many of us have adorable, fun loving pets that we want to share with everyone, but for the safety of ALL our students, we ask that you keep your pet at home. While we all have the best intentions, we need to do our best to keep students safe. We appreciate your understanding.

The Lost and Found is filling up. If your student is missing a jacket, water bottle, or lunch box, please have them check. The Lost and Found is located outside of the main gym. All items left will be donated on November 17th.

Fees for the school year can be found online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal under Fees. You can also see if there are any unpaid fees from the previous school years.

Families can make payments using Campus Payments. Please visit this link for instructions on how to pay outstanding fees in Infinite Campus.

School starts at 11:05am, the earliest students can be dropped off is 10:50am. Buses pick up 2.5 hours later than their normal pick up time.

The Santa Cops form is now online. Please use the link provided below. The deadline for Santa Cops Referral Form will be Friday, November 17th, 2023. Late or incomplete referrals will not be accepted.

Think pink and support Frederick High School and breast cancer awareness by buying an FHS “pink out” shirt! There are two styles: the shirt with the Frederick logo sells for $15, and the special edition shirt – designed by an FHS student – sells for $20. Sales are cash only. You can email president@fhsbooster.com to purchase a shirt. FHS would like to “pink out” the Oct. 27 football game vs. Mead by having attendees wear pink, and proceeds from shirt sales will benefit the Colorado Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

Safe2Tell provides students, parents, and community members a safe and anonymous way to report information about any issues that concern their safety or the safety of others. Safe2Tell’s reporting process is simple. Call to interact with a live, trained analyst (call takers) or fill out a form via the website or mobile app.

Elementary Report Cards will be available online, on November 10th through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need assistance logging in or accessing your students' report card please call the front office at 303-833-2456.

Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance.
