Gayton Elementary Family News and Updates
More Summer Updates!
Dear Gayton Families:
We hope you are having a happy summer. Below are a few more updates and important new PTA information. We will have more items to share with you soon in August, including classroom assignments.
SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS -- in case you are ready to start shopping. AIS families--we will be sending Mrs. Desouki's list soon.
Thursday, August 15
- At 6:00 PM we will have a Kindergarten and New Family Orientation in the gym. Any family may attend if you would like to learn more about our school more about the school, ask questions, join the PTA, and connect with other families. This is not a night to meet teachers; school administration will go over important items such as our school vision/mission, School Quality Plan, safety policies and initiatives, approach to teaching/learning, discipline expectations, and PTA opportunities. While children are welcome, it may be a dull night for them as classrooms will not be open. Open House on Friday is what they will be really looking forward to. :)

- 10:30-12:30 Open House for Grades 1-5
The first day of school is August 19th. We look forward to a great new year! Please see important PTA information below.

It doesn’t cost anything to register for an account, but we’d love for you to become a PTA member while you are visiting the website!

Safety is Priority One!
We have shared the items below with you previously, and they are permanently linked below for your continued reference. At this time, we ask that you review/reference them (again) to have safety at the forefront in our partnership with you.
Another area that is very important to fostering a culture of safety at Gayton is student discipline. Please also see the following links for your review/reference.
Should you have any questions or concerns about student safety, crisis preparedness/protocols, or student discipline, please give Mrs. Reeves or Dr. Eggleston a call at 804-360-0820.
