Principal Corner
This week was Safety Week here at school - we practiced for several different types of situations throughout the week. Fire drills, lockdown drills, medical emergencies, and several other emergencies were covered. We also coordinated with the Otsego Police Department to get feedback and input through the week.
At our student input lunch this week, school safety was a main focus. Students were quick to say that they feel safe and supported at school, and that was great to hear. School safety is a team effort from parents, students, and staff - and we appreciate everyone's involvement in keeping our school safe1

Student Input
Mr. Reed and Mrs. Maxwell meet regularly with different groups of students to gather input around the school. Our notes from the last meeting are attached below. Some highlights from this past meeting were the sense of safety students feel at school, as well as the supportive staff members they identified. If this is something you are interested in participating in next time please let one of us know!
