Carolina Springs Elementary
February 2024
A Message from Mr. Brown
Hello Husky Families,
January was a quick month! Welcome to February!
We have a very exciting month ahead starting with celebrating Black History Month, Kindness Week, Spring Book Fair, STEM Night, parent teacher conferences and our annual Daddy Daughter Dance. I am so excited about these extra opportunities, and also for the learning taking place in each classroom.
The next stretch of school is extremely important for students as we enter the last third of the school year. Continue to read and practice math facts at home each night and continue to talk about what your students are learning each day.
February is Black History Month and I am excited that we get to highlight important accomplishments and contributions of African Americans from South Carolina and the United States.
As we enter February, I believe it is also important to reflect on the goals or resolutions students set for themselves as they started 2024. Remember, for me, working on balance is a focus- I hope you are all working on your word for the new year.
Thank you for sharing your students with us in this school community. We truly love your children and are excited to work with you and them on a daily basis.
See you at all of the events coming up!
Let's be Heroes, Huskies!
Todd C. Brown, CSES Principal

School dismisses at 2:20pm. It is important to be here on time for student pickup and to have your car tag displayed in the carline. If you need a replacement tag, you may get one in the front office.
