After graduation, I sat for the National Council Licensure Examination and became licensed as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
Teacher that inspired me
My interest in the medical field grew substantially while taking Human Anatomy 1 and 2 with Ms. Zwirn. Ms. Zwirn challenged us to answer the “how” and “why” when it came to the human body, and I still apply these questions to my work daily. I love to dig deeper into the “how/why” behind my patients’ various diagnoses, and how the medications and treatments that the medical team provide are aiding in my patients’ recovery.
Awards/Clubs
While at North, I was involved in band, National Honor Society, and was a member of the swim team, nordic ski team, and lacrosse team.
