Grant Weekly Bulletin 2.12.2024
Grant Gators
Principals Corner
Dear Grant Gators,
We had such great weather this week which allows our students to enjoy their recess time! Today our Kindergarten students celebrated the 100th day of school. We know they had a good time!
Just a friendly reminder that after you pick your students up from the front of the building to please move to the back of our building if you want to talk or have your children play. We want to ensure all students get where they need to be and typically our bus AF arrives a bit after 4:00 p.m. so we want to have a clear passage way for them too. Thank you so much!
Please welcome Ms. Megan Utter as our K/1 Multi-Age Resource Room Program teacher who begins Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Our students and staff are excited to meet her. A welcome letter was shared with her students yesterday. One fun fact about Ms. Utter is that she is an OHIO STATE Buckeye Fan! We did not know this when we hired her, but bonus for me!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mazzoni

Girls on the Run 2024 - After School
Great news, Girls on the Run 2024 is ready for sign up for 3rd and 4th grade Girls at Grant Elemetnary. The coaches are Robyn Mason, Sarah Erickson, and Amber Pope. There are 24 spots available.
We start March 11th and go through May 22nd. It will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Grant Elementary. This program is amazing as they prepare for a 5k. Girls will also be given lessons to build their confidence and help them learn to work through conflicts they may face at their age level, empowering them.
We also provide healthy snacks to the girls at practice.
Thank you and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

HEALTH CHECK LIST
Staying Healthy
We know that with the start of the school year also comes an increased occurrence of colds, flu, and other illnesses. With regard to Covid-19 safety measures, there are no guidelines or requirements from the state or local health departments for schools this year. Therefore, our schools do not have “protocols,” per se, but we do encourage all families to use the following guidance as a “rule of thumb” when your student is not feeling well.
Grant Spirit Wear Website
Get your spirit wear. Just in case you want to get started on ordering Grant Gator Spiritwear. Every Friday we encourage our students to wear Grant Gator Gear for free.
HOME Grant Elementary Spiritwear (grantspiritwear.com)Every Wednesday at Grant Elementary is "Be Kind Wednesday"
We have really worked on spreading KINDNESS at Grant Elementary over the past year. We'd like to continue to do our "Be Kind Wednesdays" by wearing anything that spreads kindness at Grant Elementary. This is optional too. Here is a few websites where you can find some cool gear.
