This Week at Windsor 6.4.2021
Teachers make a difference at any distance...
Windsor Families,
Happy June! I hope you all had a nice Memorial Day weekend! We are down to the last five days of school and next week is Spirit Week! On Monday, be sure to wear a sports jersey or t-shirt.
We had a beautiful day for our Senior Walk on Wednesday, it was so wonderful to see so many former Windsor students come back to be congratulated on their graduation.
Today, we celebrated our 5th graders by watching the 5th-grade video, presenting them with their banner that will be hung in the Commons, and then we finished up with some ice cream and music outside on the field.
LMC: There are still over 175 books that have not been returned, this is over $2,000.00 worth of books, please check your home and return any books that you may still have.
Register for the 2021-22 School Year: Please remember to register your children for the upcoming school year. Registration is currently live online at www.s25.org. New residency documents are required if there is a change of address for current students. New students attending next August, must also provide proof of residency.
From our Front Office:
- We are having a lot of students coming in asking for a new mask, if you could please send an extra mask in your child's backpack that would be fantastic!
- If you are planning to move prior to the end of the school year or over the summer, please let the office know. Parents will need to sign a Release of Records form, available in the Windsor office, and turn in all tech devices before the District can release student records to the new school district
- If students will be leaving before the official last day of school, June 11, please let the office know.
Have a wonderful wildcat weekend,
Mrs. Anastacio and Mrs. Soprano

Windsor PTA
PTA volunteer form: Every year we are lucky to have amazing volunteers from the Windsor community help to make our PTA events a success. We are looking for parents interested in getting involved for the 2021-22 school year. This link will take you to a form that lists out volunteer activities for next year. Please fill it out to let us know where you would like to help. We are also in need of chairs for some committees to keep them going. This is not committing to anything, but if you are interested in helping you will receive more information in your areas of interest. Thank you so much for your support.

Notes from the Health Office...
Hi Parents!
We are seeing an uptick in illness and seasonal allergies. These health issues often have the same symptoms of COVID. If your child has symptoms of COVID they can be tested in our COVID 19 testing clinic free of charge at Thomas Middle School from 3-4:30 every school day! You must make an appointment for your child (only for students in district #25 that have symptoms).
Here is the link:

Please remember to keep your child home from school and any siblings that have any COVID symptoms and contact me (your school nurse).
Thank you again for partnering with us to continue to keep Windsor School a safe place for everyone!
Sincerely,
Darlene Carpenter, RN
Windsor School Nurse
