State Testing for 11th Grade Students this week, April 11-14
Our English assessments will take place this week. We will be testing all 11th grade students. Students will need to bring their fully charged school issued Chromebooks for the test. If they do not have a school Chromebook, they can check one out in the library before school, during TSCT, at lunch or after school.
English tests begin on Tuesday, April 11. Students will be testing in their English class during two class periods - A days April 11&13 and B days April 12&14.
Parents and Guardians, the data from state testing is incredibly important. Because of COVID, this is the first normed state assessment this class has taken since they were in 5th grade. Individual scores in Math, Language Arts and Science will be mailed to parents, and communicated to students.
If your student will be absent during testing, they will need to make up the test.
State law also requires us to inform you that a form is available from the Oregon Department of Education that allows you to opt your child out of the English and Math Assessments. Should you wish to opt out your child, fill out the form and submit it to the main office at Lakeridge - attention Lois Moll or email it back to molll@loswego.k12.or.us. Click here Opt Out Form

LOSD Saftey Reminders
Bike Safety
As the weather improves, it’s a great time to consider getting outside. Your District Nurses want to remind and encourage your student to ride their bike safely and remember to wear a helmet. These resources can help your student get off to a great start.
