Important Information
Please continue to refer back to this document as it will be updated as devices are deployed and specific needs arise.
What to expect
- After you receive your device and have signed in to it, applications will download to the device over a few hours. If it's been a while and you still don't have important applications (such as Chrome), please restart your device while connected to your docking station.
- If you have specific applications that you use and need to download, you will have to put in a Help Desk ticket so we can push the application out to you. In the ticket system, please select Staff > Account/Application > Intune Requests > Application Request.
- The new set up is designed for flexibility. You can remove your laptop from the docking station to work in a different location or connect to your projector.
- Please reboot your device daily for the first week. Doing so will help with updates and ensuring your device works optimally.

- How to Mirror and Extend Your Screen on the Mac Laptop
To share your screen in meetings, you will need to go to your System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording and enable for Chrome, Webex, Zoom, etc.
Known Issues
Power settings can now be adjusted to meet your needs. You will be prompted to enter your password when making changes.
- When connecting Macs to projectors like the EPSON projectors, the projector will intermittently flicker and go to static as seen HERE. In order to correct this problem Apple advises to use a DisplayPort Alt Mode, Thunderbolt 3, or Thunderbolt 4 compatible adapter. So in this case it would need to be a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 to HDMI adapter. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351. We are ordering adapters to fix this issue.
