Principal's Message
I hope you are having a great week. We are looking forward to seeing many of our toddler, preschool and Pre-K families at the Thanksgiving luncheon on November 16th. Registration has closed for the luncheon. I have shared the luncheon schedule below. Family members should check in at the front desk, secure a visitor's sticker and walk to the their student's classroom so that you will transition to the cafeteria with the students and teachers.
As a reminder, Pre-K and preschool special education programs are closed the week of November 20th for Thanksgiving break. The 0-3 tuition paying program will close at noon on Wednesday, November 22 and will be closed November 23 and 24th.
Have a great weekend,
Principal Garland

Community service projects at College Heights
November is community service month at College Heights, and every class is participating in projects to help those in need in our community. These projects include collecting items to donate such as blankets, stuffed animals, art supplies, and much more. Information will be coming home through classroom teachers, so please make sure to read emails and check folders to see how you and your family can be involved.
Getting fancy in Ms. B's class
Students and families in Ms. B's classroom enjoyed a fancy tea party last week. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us. Students practiced their fine motor skills while enjoying tea and snacks and they read the poem I'm a Little Teapot (naturally!). What a great way to end their learning unit on friends and family!

SAVE THE DATE - College Heights Annual Auction
Parents and families - the College Heights Auction is quickly approaching! It's our school's single largest fundraiser of the year.
We have some fantastic items for the silent and live auction - think Rosefinch Spa, Atlanta United Tickets, Color Wheel Camp, Birthday Party Packages etc. - BUT we are still seeking 10-15 more items for our silent auction from our favorite Decatur/Atlanta local vendors.
Please take a moment and think about what items, experiences or services you may be able to donate or connect us to! Email laura.bollman@gmail.com with your ideas - thank you!
All donations are tax deductible as College Heights PTA is a 501c3 nonprofit.
