Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) Student Takes Home an Award
Congratulations to Amaya Mulchandani for winning third place for her digital brochure at the HOSA Fall Rally on Friday.
Academic Honors
Parkview is proud to celebrate the students who earned an Academic Letter during the 2022/2023 school year. These students will receive a special treat at lunch when they pick up their certificate and award. Honorees will be notified by email to stop by the tables to pick up their treat, certificate, and award on their grade levels assigned day:
- 10th graders will receive their awards on Monday, 10/23
- 11th graders on Tuesday, 10/24
- 12th Graders on Thursday, 10/26.
Academic letters are awarded in the fall of a student's 10th, 11th, and 12th grade year based on the previous year's academic work. Students must have a 90.00 cumulative average (without rounding) each semester to qualify to be recognized the following school year. The first year award is an academic letter, the second year award is an academic pin, and the third year award is an academic medal. For example, a sophomore could be recognized during the fall of their sophomore year based on their academic performance during their freshman year. A list of recipients is below.
Congratulations to all of the students that earned an academic award for their performance in the 2022-2023 school year! Click here for a full list of Academic Honorees.

Dress Code Reminders
As temperatures drop and winter approaches, we would like to remind everyone of our dress code policy. To ensure the safety and security of all individuals within the building, no hats, hoods, or headwear are allowed. This helps us to identify each person in the building if necessary. Additionally, blankets or pillows cannot be used during school hours. We ask that you wear an extra layer of clothing or bring a jacket for chilly mornings or classrooms. Remember, hats, hoods, headwear, blankets, and pillows are not allowed inside the building. Thank you for your cooperation.
PBIS Reminders for Students
Don’t forget to remind your teachers to give you your earned behavior points! Getting points is easy; all you have to do is be on time! Your accumulated points for the months of September and October can be redeemed at our next PBIS celebration in November.
