Tiger Feedback
February 9, 2024
Park Family,
February is a great time to practice gratitude and encouragement! Take a few moments (literally can be 30 seconds) and give thanks for the blessings that we all have. Brain research tells us that we cannot be stressed and grateful at the same time. Gratitude helps our mindset and outlook.
Also, take a moment to encourage someone. We all need each other as we do this important work of Love, Serve and Care for our 3,012 Tigers and Park Family!
We are looking forward to the Teacher Work day next Friday, February 16 and our Professional Development Day on Monday, February 19! This will be a great time to catch our breath, reset and have some fun.
With gratitude for You!
Chris

Tiger Robotics concluded this year’s Academic UIL VRC Robotics competition season at the Berry Center in the CFISD District Tournament. Congratulations to Carlos Argueta-Castellon, Jonathan Calderon, and Fernando Montalvo for their 2nd Place finish in a 40-team field. The team was in 5th place after the Qualification Matches. In the Elimination Matches, the team’s alliance prevailed until the Final Match. Tiger Robotics teams improved from their third place finish last year. Mr. McIntosh coached the Robotics 2 teams in the tournament, while Dr. Iselin helped set up the competition fields before the tournament and volunteered as a Judge.
Information about the Academic UIL Robotics programs may be found at https://www.uiltexas.org/academics/stem/robotics. Tiger Robotics compete in all three robotics programs. Congratulations Dr. Iselin, Mr. McIntosh, or Ms. Winkler!
