As we enter the winter holiday season and next month’s worship theme of healing, we are requesting photos of things you are thankful for. Look around you, look into your heart, and snap a photo. Then send it to uucsjsadmin@gmail.com. No people please- only places, things, or ideas and please send them in by November 4th.

The UUA has just announced the Common Read book for 2020-21 is Breathe: A Letter to My Sons by Imani Perry. Breathe "explores the terror, grace, and beauty of coming of age as a Black person in contemporary America and what it means to parent our children in a persistently unjust world."

You can purchase the book from the inSpirit Bookstore or wherever you buy books and look for updates on a congregational book discussion later in the year.
