We hope you can join us for Curriculum Night at Snohomish High School on Thursday, September 14, from 6:30-8:00p.m. We will begin with a short welcome and opening in the main gym at 6:30p.m. Then we will proceed with a shortened 6-period bell schedule so parents can visit each classroom. You’ll have an opportunity to meet the teachers and learn about the curriculum and expectations for each class. Please bring a copy of your student’s schedule which includes class period, teacher, and room location. If you don’t have a schedule, they will be provided in the main office. Hope to see you at SHS on Thursday!

Attention Juniors-- It's time to sign up for the PSAT.

The PSAT is a preparatory test for the SAT with four focus areas: reading, writing, language, and math. Students can use their scores to think strategically about where they will apply to college. For some students, the PSAT can also mean access to scholarship opportunities. The PSAT is only open to Juniors at this time, students who take the PSAT may be eligible for consideration of the National Merit Scholarship. We will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT on campus at SHS on October 25, check in will begin at 7:15a.m. and the test will run from 7:30-10:48a.m. You will miss periods 1 – 3. Testing will be in rooms A302 and A307.

Sign-ups will are open now. The cost of the PSAT is $20. Students can sign up and pay in the bookkeeping office.

Attention students!! The Snohomish Police Department will begin ticketing cars that are parked in the residential area south of campus. Please do not park in areas with the signs that read "Permit Parking Only". Thank you.

A reminder to students who have not picked up their 2023-2024 SHS parking pass, please stop by the main office and pick up your pass as soon as possible. Parking enforcement will begin soon.

Transportation Reminders

• Bus drivers will distribute ID cards to students during the first week of school. Students need to have their cards with them to scan both boarding and exiting the bus.
• Band instruments can only be transported on a bus when the instrument either fits into a backpack or the student holds it on their lap. Oversize instruments, like tuba’s and drums, need to be transported by parents.
• Sadly, eating is not allowed on buses.

Dorian will be on campus on Friday, September 15 starting at 9a.m. Any students who missed photos at start up will need to attend photo make ups.

Picture packets are available in the main office.

Welcome back! The Panther Pause store will open on Thursday, September 14 during both lunches. Come see us for pizza, rice, cookies, panther gear and more! The line begins at the window outside of A building, please do not cut the line.

Dance team will have open auditions on Wednesday, September 13 2:30-4p.m. in the Mat Room. We have open positions available. We perform pom and hip-hop style. Dance team members need a Physical and Final Forms. If interested come to our open audition and/or see Mrs. Kaloger at the Espresso Cart in the Commons during lunch.

German club will meet on Wednesday, September 13, during Panther Period in A206. We will discuss meeting days and officer election.

Parents are invited to join us to learn about opportunities to help our theatre students! There are all kinds of ways you can be involved: fundraising, marketing, concessions, running errands, ushering, supplying meals, arts & crafts, student supervision, etc.

Join us to learn how to perform an audition, and then practice with friends. Bring a monologue or choose one when you arrive.
