MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We ALMOST completed our first FULL week of school. I hope everyone in the Chardon community stayed safe last night and did not sustain any major damage from the severe weather.
VESTIBULE-ITEM DROP OFF
The picture below shows our new system for dropping off items for your student(s) during the school day. Upon arrival, use the intercom system to notify the office of your visit. You will then be "buzzed" into the school. Fill out the small slip of paper, Student Name:, Grade:, and place the item in the proper bin. The office will ensure your child receives the item in a timely manner. Having the new vestibule allows visitors to enter the lobby which is closed off from the rest of the school by a set of locked doors.
MAP and OST REPORTS
I was very impressed with the effort from our students this past week during MAP testing. Once makeups are complete, the office will print the reports and send home both the most recent MAP scores as well as their Ohio State Test Family Report with students in an envelope.
Next week, we have a four-day week, and a four-day weekend. Enjoy your extended weekend.
-Mr. Tomco
