Our PTO will be meeting on 1/17 to plan the upcoming Bingo Night event. Please join them in the library at 6pm if you are able to help. They will be planning all elements of the fun family event. We look forward to seeing you there!

When your child is absent, please make sure you submit a note for the absence(s) within 10 days from the date of absence. This can be done with a paper note, or it can be emailed directly to our registrar, Adriana Avalos @ aavalos@magnoliaisd.org. Thank you for your help.

As a spring reminder, birthday treats can only be offered to students via an order from the Child Nutrition Services Department. Options include brownies, sugar cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. Please see the attached form below.

Please do not bring any treats or snacks to be dispursed to students.

When a student becomes ill or injured at school, they will be sent to the clinic. If the clinic personnel feel it necessary, the parent will be called and may be asked to come and pick up the student at school.

A child who demonstrates the following symptoms may be sent home:

• Fever of 100 degrees or more
• Suspected contagious disease or illness
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Head lice
• Possible pink eye
• Unidentified generalized rash
• Students who appear to be too ill to function in the classroom.

Children should be free of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever for at least 24 hours without being given medications for these symptoms before returning to school.

Due to limited space & safety concerns, only one lunch visitor per student is allowed each week.

Friends of the child may not dine with the parent, and food may not be provided to other students.

WES campus hours are 7:30 am-4:35 pm.
