Spreading Kindness During Drop off/Pick up
As we strive to maintain a safe and efficient environment for all students at our school, we kindly remind you of the importance of adhering to the drop off and pick up rules. Ensuring smooth traffic flow not only benefits our school community but also extends to our neighbors in the surrounding areas.
Please remember to:
- Follow designated drop off and pick up zones.
- Avoid double parking or stopping in no-parking zones.
- Refrain from blocking driveways or impeding traffic flow.
By respecting these guidelines, we demonstrate consideration for our neighbors and contribute to a positive relationship with the community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Notes From The Office
Absence Reminders
Parents, please remember to always email or call if your child is going to be absent from school. The office works hard to accurately verify and code student absences and it helps us a lot when we don’t have to make calls home to verify why a student is out. We also appreciate a call if your child is going to be late to school due to an appointment, etc. Please note that if we are unable to verify an absence, it will be coded as unexcused. For your convenience, we have a 24 hour voicemail for leaving absence messages or you can email the attendance clerk at fharvery@walnutcreeksd.org
As always, thank you for your support.
Mrs. Kaye
Office Manager

WCEF Receives Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency
We’re excited to share that WCEF has earned a 2024 Platinum Seal of Transparency with Candid, the highest level possible!
Each year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters, giving donors the information they need to feel confident about their donations and the impact of their gifts. Candid's data tools on nonprofits, foundations, and grants are the most comprehensive in the world. By sharing important metrics about our organization and increasing transparency with our donor community, WCEF has earned Candid’s seal of approval.
