"Our Teachers and Staff are Superheroes!" It is Appreciation Week, Spirit Week, and Exceptional Children's Week at Elkins Pointe. Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Natasha Young, 8th grade ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher, and our Professional of the Year, Ms. Terri Dixon, Data Clerk.

Elkins Pointe needs parents and teachers to run for our School Governance Council (SGC). We do not have any declared candidates, and we must fill one parent seat and one teacher seat. "A Night in Paris" 8th Grade Dance Celebration
Student celebrations are coming up soon! We need your help to make sure the 8th grade kids have the night of their lives and a great graduation. HOOPS & KICKS FOR HEARTS
Please congratulate the following student/athletes on winning our 23rd Annual Hoops for Heart Tournament, as well as our 5th Annual Kicks for Heart Tournament. These students showed some incredible talent in both sports, as well as fantastic sportsmanship. I also would like to announce that our school raised $1,105.00 for the American Heart Association thru fundraising for these tournaments. We couldn't be prouder of these students. We would also like to thank our Connections Dept. for always supporting the PE program in our activities each year!

ALGEBRA TUTORING @ EPMS
If your 8th grade student wants extra help in Algebra, the Hornets are coming to help. This tutoring is FREE on Wednesdays (Dates: 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/19) from after-school until 5:00 pm.
NOTE: Parents must pick up their child PROMPTLY at 5:00 pm!

ATTENTION RISING 9TH-GRADERS TO MILTON HIGH!
Rising 9th graders who will attend Milton High School are invited to audition for Milton Theatre's Advanced Drama and Cirque program. A parent and student information meeting at Milton HS on Tuesday, March 7th at 7 pm.
- PARENT MEETING INFO: The meeting is in the Blackbox Theatre on the ground floor of Milton High School on 3/7 at 7:00 pm. The session will cover the audition process, time commitment, fees, etc. There will also be a chance to hear from current students and parents about their experiences and ask questions.

- ADVANCED DRAMA AUDITIONS: Students interested in Advanced Drama should also email Helen Gordon to schedule a specific time slot. gordonh1@fultonschools.org. Advanced Drama Auditions are Tuesday, March 21, and Wednesday, March 22.
- CIRQUE AUDITIONS: Cirque Auditions are on Wednesday, March 2,9, from 4β8 p.m., with a possible call back on Thursday, March 30. Middle school students should arrive as soon as possible after school ends. We realize there is transit time, especially from Elkins Pointe.

Milton Arts Council is excited to announce our Audition WorkshopGetting prepared for High School theater auditions? Milton Arts Council is excited to announce our Audition Workshop!
This session will be taught by MHS theater and the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance alum Lauren Dominguez-Kenner. It is designed to improve knowledge and confidence in the high school theater audition process.

Roswell High School Girls Lacrosse: Friends and Family Night
You are invited to our inaugural Friends and Family Night on Tuesday, March 15th at 6:00 p.m. as we take on Chamblee High School.
