Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, or contributed to Oktoberfest this past weekend. Even with the rain, we had a fantastic turnout. I hope you and your families enjoyed the event.
This week we have a few notable days on the liturgical calendar. November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints. Our school community will walk up to Holy Name Church to celebrate Mass. We encourage students to dress us as their favorite saint in celebration of this great feast of the Church. Families are encouraged to join us for Mass at 9 a.m. on that day.
We also celebrate All Souls Day on November 2nd. This is the day where we pray for all the Faithful Departed. In a special way, we pray for our loved ones. I will be sending out a separate email requesting the names of your deceased loved ones. Their names will be placed in Holy Name Church and we will pray for them throughout the month of November.
Our Oktoberfest Dinner is scheduled for November 4th from 6-10 p.m. The Khoury Girls will perform. Mrs. Suzanne Lefevre will also be recognized for our first St. Bernardine of Siena Award. Tickets for adults are $25 and children's tickets cost $5. Please join us for this family event to wrap up our Oktoberfest fundraiser.
