A note from Mrs. Abee

Wow! I cannot believe it is December! The kids did an amazing job raising money for Boosterthon and we met our class goal! This Friday they will each get to pie me in the face to reward their fundraising.


This Wednesday we will take our mid-year diagnostic on iReady! I'm so excited to see how much the kids have grown and I look forward to sharing that data with you! Please encourage them to do their best and take their time!


As always, don't forget to:

  • Bring Macbooks charged each day.
  • Any work on the "keep at home" side of the folder does not need to return to school.
  • We eat snacks around 9:50 each day. If you would like to send in extra snacks to help out anyone that forgets to pack a snack that would be awesome!
  • MASKS MASKS MASKS! Remind your kiddos to keep those masks on anytime they leave their seat!

Homework UPDATE

Don't forget to do spelling homework EVERY night and return on Fridays.


Math fact practice is very important as move into two and even 3 digit addition. The kids have several games on their MacBooks that help them memorize addition facts fluently. Flashcards are also an excellent option. If you need any flashcards please let me know. I have plenty to share!
