END OF THE YEAR PRAYER
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parent/Guardians,
It is hard to believe that this will be our last newsletter for the year.
Our 8th graders have finished classes and are preparing for Graduation next week. They should have been resting today from their travels to Washington, D.C. but unfortunately, it’s the second year in a row our students were unable to experience this trip. The good news is that next year’s 8th graders will be able to attend the trip at this point in time.
We all have made a remarkable recovery from the pandemic these past few months. This is due to the wonders of science over the years. Living in a developing country has made us become aware of those countries experiencing more loss of lives due to the pandemic and a slow rollout of the vaccine. Even as I write, back in my home country of Australia, the state of Victoria has gone into a lockdown due to an increase of COVID cases spread by one person.
Let’s keep in our prayers our brothers and sisters around the world that they may soon be vaccinated and that governments look after their people. We see the US sending medical supplies and vaccines to other parts of the world.
As we finish up the school year, we will be offering those students a summer program from “Simple Solutions” whose teachers have determined would benefit from additional help to increase their Star performance and so that they will be ready for the next school year. I will be sending an email to parents with instructions for the summer program. This program will incur no additional costs to those families.
What will next year look like?
At this point, we are still waiting for advice from the county offices on requirements for schools for 2021-2022. The expectation is that all students will be back on campus, masked, and 3 feet physically distanced. The hours and schedule will revert back to pre-Covid times. Drop-off and pick-up will change, but more information about this will be forthcoming.
Congratulations to the 8th Graders
We wish all the best to our 8th grade graduates as they leave All Souls and venture into different High Schools.

A special thanks to all my staff for all the hard work they have done during the past twelve months. They have worked tirelessly during this time to provide a sound educational experience for the students.
