Moana Jr. show tickets will go on sale April 13th at 7AM and will be available online until 4 hours before each performance. If there are remaining tickets, they will be sold at the door.

Do you know a child who enjoys reading for pleasure? If so, nominate him/her today for our April Boomerang Award.

The April Boomerang Asset is Reading for Pleasure - Young person reads for pleasure most days, either alone, with family members, or with friends. Please complete a nomination form by Friday, April 22nd and email it to Liz Meier, our student support counselor, at emeier@cbsd.org.

Calling all authors and illustrators!

To celebrate Gayman Elementary's 60th birthday, the Mustang Muse is looking for essays, stories, and artwork all about Gayman. For submission information, click here.

The submission deadline is April 30th. We can't wait to see your literary talents shine!

Gayman Elementary School will deliver the PSSAs for students in grades 3-6 in an online format, similar to last year, on the following dates:

• English Language Arts: April 27th, 28th, & 29th
• Mathematics: May 5th & 6th
• Science: May 9th - 4th grade only

Once your child is registered, then tell us about your son/daughter. We invite you to complete our Kindergarten Welcome Survey found on our New Families Resources Page.

NOTE: Requests for morning or afternoon kindergarten are determined on a first come - first serve basis. Priority is also given to a request with a documented need by the parents' employers.

Parents and guardians are able to submit an absence request via the Parent Portal. When a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, a text message and email will be sent.

All attendance questions can be directed to Christine Stevens, cstevens@cbsd.org, in the Gayman Office.

To volunteer or chaperone, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions.
