EPCUSD Construction Update

The School District appreciates our residents' patience and understanding of the inconvenience caused by the construction at Elmwood Elementary School and John Mills Elementary School. This is an exciting time for our schools and we look forward to the opportunities the new facilities will provide our students.

We are now one month into the renovation project. The demolition phase is complete and the interior remodeling and addition work has begun. The internal walls on the first floor were removed and approximately 60% of the floor is being replaced. The framing for new classrooms and underground plumbing is underway. The first floor demolition is complete and the interior walls and floors are being installed. The parking lot has been removed and exterior excavation has taken place to replace the original drain tiles. There are multiple trades working onsite six days a week to have the building ready to open for the start of school. Please see the link below to see photos that highlight the project.
