Mrs. Curtin
Ms. Atwater
Mrs. Hanna
Second graders designed and presented Patriotic Parks which incorporated features focused on nature and building community. Students agreed parks are an important place for people to have fun, enjoy nature, exercise, relax, and spend time with friends!
In second grade there was a special end of the year celebration: Luau Day! We researched sea animals, dressed up, played games and of course, tested our Limbo skills! Here is a picture of Mrs. Hanna's class all dressed up.
Mrs. Sylvester
Mrs. Sylvester's class is enjoying the last few days with friends we've made throughout the year. Tawanka Eagles Soar together! We are getting ready to fly from the nest to Fourth grade.
Mrs. Millevoi
Mrs. Millevoi's class was busy creating Bloom Balls demonstrating their knowledge of The One and Only Ivan and third grade literature standards.
Mrs. Davis
Students in Mrs. Davis' class put together a writing portfolio for all the pieces they wrote this year. The caricature on the front was sketched by her daughter, Julia Davis who is an artist.
Mrs. Davis & Mrs. Millevoi
Third grade students in Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Millevoi went "camping" this week. Camps were designed for students to have fun while playing review games, telling stories, creating memory books, reading by flashlight, and participating in "mail call." A fun time was had by all!
On Friday, May 27th, it was day "L" in our ABC countdown to the last day of school. "L" stood for "Let's Meet Next Year's Teachers Day". Each grade went up to visit the next grade level teachers. This gave our current 4th graders the opportunity to visit with their previous Kindergarten teachers. The Kindergarten teachers loved seeing all of their lovely faces so they could say goodbye before they move onto middle school. Good luck almost 5th graders!
