During the first cycle of Art class students have been learning about the expectations and routines in the Art Studio! They have taken a tour of all of the amazing centers such as drawing, painting, collage and the book nook.
Dot Day!
This year we are going to join in "The Dot" activities as well as talk about growth mindset and the Power of Yet during the week of September 11th - 15th. We invite students to wear polka dots on Friday, September 15th for Dot Day!
A growth mindset means that we believe with hard work we can accomplish difficult tasks. When things seem difficult for us, we tell ourselves that we can't do it YET but we will keep trying!
Please check out this video to learn more about Fixed and Growth Mindset:

The attached document outlines all of the information and links you may need to enroll your child in the Instrumental Music Program for 2023-2024.

PV Power Packs is a volunteer run organization and all information is kept confidential. Names are shared with school counselors who arrange for students to pick up their bags prior to every weekend.

Food Services Department
Parents/Guardians put money in their student(s) lunch accounts electronically in SchoolCafe or by sending cash or checks in with their students. If you are sending funds in with your students, please write the students’ names and account number on the envelope and ask them to give the envelope to their classroom teacher and/or the cashier in the cafeteria.
Upon entering the serving area, students make their selections and enter their 6 digit Student ID number on the pin pad or scanner. Our staff is happy to help them if they need help with the system.
For the School Cafe link and other Food Service information, please visit the PV Food Service website: https://www.pvsd.org/departments/food-service/.

An absence is considered unexcused when the child’s school has not received an email providing an acceptable reason for the absence within a 3-day period. Educational Travel
Approval for such trips is limited to five (5) school days per year. Additional days will be classified as unexcused and be subject to legal attendance regulations.
