GLOW GAZETTE
WEEK OF JANUARY 8, 2024
Message from the Principal
GLOW Students & Families,
We hope this has been a smooth transition back to school this week! From our perspective it was a great week at GLOW capped off with our Inaugural Alumni Day on Friday.
It was so great to have our students from the Class of 2023 back on campus to share their experiences following their first semester of college. Our Alumni hosted a College Fair for our Middle School students in the morning and facilitated Table Conversations with our High School students in the afternoon to share their "lessons learned" over the past semester.
Our staff couldn't help feel a sense of pride in seeing these former students, now adults, finding both themselves and success as they navigate through this first year of college. Much like any parent, schools are hopeful that they have done everything necessary and possible to prepare students for the next step in their academic journey. So, it brings us both a sense of relief and a great deal of pride to find these alumni happy and well adjusted.
As we continue through this second semester, we continue to be grateful that you have chosen GLOW to prepare your student for the next step in their academic journey. We do not take that responsibility lightly, and we are honored to do this work in partnership with you, our parents.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe
Principal
