Eiber's Adventure Update
August 31st, 2022
We hope you are all having a great week! Please take some time to read through the information below for some important updates! Also, we wanted to remind you that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 5th as it is a holiday. We hope you enjoy your 3 day weekend!
Coffee with the Principal
Parents/guardians are invited to join us on Friday, September 9th to have coffee with Principal Bedell! Coffee with the principal is a great opportunity to connect with other families, learn about what is happening at Eiber, as well as sharing feedback and asking questions. We hope you can join us in the Eiber library from 8:30-9:30am.
Please Welcome our new Enrollment Secretary!
We would like to give a big Eiber welcome to our new enrollment secretary, Alexa Betancourth! Alexa is excited to be joining the Eiber team and is looking forward to getting to know all of you! Next time you are in the building, stop by the office and introduce yourself. Alexa is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.
Family Engagement News!
We have an amazing resource from The Parent Institute that contains some great information that will help support student learning at home. Please take some time to read through the attached newsletter for some great tips that will help you provide a positive impact on your student's achievement. We will send out this newsletter monthly so please keep an eye out for it!
Just as a reminder, don't forget to get your free and reduced lunch applications filled out as well as your bus registration. All bus riders need to register for the bus. If you need any assistance with these, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Help your child do well in school! Try a new idea every day!
Here are a couple of suggestions on things you can try with your child every day to help them do well in school!
- When your child has a problem, offer two possible solutions. Let your child decide which one to choose
- When your child asks a question you can't answer, write it down. Keep a list of questions to look up later
- Review the school rules together. Post the rules on your refrigerator.
Track and Field for 4th and 5th graders
All 4th and 5th grade students that are interested in participating in Eiber's track and field team need to turn in their permission form into Mr. Schwab before they can attend their first practice. The first practice will be tomorrow, September 1st from 3:50-4:30pm. We will keep you posted on the date for the Tiger Invitational Track Meet as soon as we have it. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Schwab at nschwab@jeffco.k12.co.us or call him at 303-982-6406.
