A Look Back
Let's See What Exciting Things Happened In November
November is such an exciting month. The leaves are at their colorful peak. The weather starts to have a crispness to it, and there are many school activities. Let's look at some of the fantastic things we did in November.
Diwali
Site 186 had a special treat when Keshav, from class KO3, shared the meaning of the Hindu holiday Diwali with his classmates. Diwali is a "festival of lights" that celebrates the triumph of light over dark, good over evil, and the blessings of victory, freedom, and enlightenment. Keshav dressed in a special outfit as part of the celebration.

Friendsgiving
November 15th was our second Parents Day in the Classroom of the school year. Many parents stopped by to see their children participate in the Friendsgiving Day celebration. Classes made pudding pie and ice cream sandwiches to help celebrate. Some students made a thankful tree and wrote what they were thankful for on the leaves.
