The Westgate Wire
January 27, 2023
Allie and I wish you a wonderful weekend!
Below are a few things to put on your radar...
- Please be sure to send your child to school with snow gear and extra socks. We plan to be outside as long as the temperature is above zero.
- Registration for the 23-24 Kindergarteners has begun! Any child who will turn five by September 1, 2023 can register. Please see the District 25 website or call the Westgate office for information. You can drop off your registration packets in the Westgate office between 8-4, Monday-Friday. The office will also be open during Parent/Teacher Conferences -2/16 (8:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.) and 2/17 (8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.).
- We would like to congratulate Mrs. Mazzola and her husband on the birth of their son, Jackson David Mazzola! Both mom and baby are doing well. Mrs. Kerkemeyer will be teaching in the LMC while Mrs. Mazzola is on leave.

If you have not already, please take a few minutes to complete the 5Essentials Survey. Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at our school and guide improvement. A report will be generated only if we have 20 percent parent participation.
