HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK
GOOD LUCK AND FAREWELL SENIORS!!
Today is the official last day of classes for our class of 2023 students!! We are incredibly proud of the hard work our seniors put in these last 4 years and are wishing the best for all.
PROM
Prom 2023 was a success!! It is safe to say that all of our seniors (and staff!) had a great time at the Venezia Restaurant last night. Music, dancing, photo booths, and even our own Mr. Murphy as the DJ, the night couldn't have been better.

ACCESS SCORES
English Learners take the ACCESS test in January to measure students' proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing in English. Students have their individual scores and will be bringing them home this week or next week. If you have any questions, please contact their ESL teacher or their English teacher.
If you would like further information about the scores, we can also provide you with an explanation of the scores in your native language or in English. Please reach out to Kate Phillipson with any other questions.
WHS FAREWELL TOUR
After many requests from our Watertown community members, WHS will be holding a "Farewell Tour" to allow anyone and everyone to have one last tour of the school before construction begins. This building has been here since 1925 and created thousands of memories for thousands of people.
There will be student-led tours of the school, photo opportunities, a bake sale, and a surprise WHS gift. There is a suggested donation of $10/person which will be directly donated to the PTSO Scholarship Fund. We would greatly appreciate your RSVP but it is not required! RSVP HERE.
If any student is interested in volunteering, please sign up here! Students will be able to earn 2-3 hours of community service.

MESSAGE FROM NURSE JONES
If your student is a rising sophomore, please make note of this announcement:
As the new academic year approaches, we wanted to remind you of the importance of an up-to-date physical examination for your child. By state law, students must have a physical examination performed and documented by a licensed physician or nurse practitioner within one year prior to entering 10th grade. Physical examinations are important because they can detect any underlying medical conditions that may affect your child's school performance or physical activity. You can obtain a physical examination for your child from your family doctor's office or a local Minute Clinic. Any exam after September 2022, will be accepted for the 2023-2024 school year. Please make sure to submit the completed physical examination form to our school's health office no later than the first day of school. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
EQUITY ACTION PLAN
We are asking our Watertown family to please use this form to share your feedback about the working draft of the "Equity Action Plan" based on the Equity Audit, and share any suggestions for meeting the recommendations in the various areas. You are welcome to comment on one, some, or all six of the Equity Priority Areas.
