UH Community Colleges across the state are offering online, in-person and hybrid training to provide college and career advancement opportunities. The Hana Career Pathways training includes opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials, jumpstart students into related degree programs, and connect students with on-the-job training and in-demand jobs.

Intro to IT and A+ Certification Exam Prep
February 7 - May 22 • Online with live online sessions • February 7-April 3 the live online sessions will be held via Zoom on Saturdays from 6-7pm; from April 4 - May 22 the live online sessions will be held via Zoom on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-8pm.
Prerequisite: No prior IT experience needed.
Cyber Fundamentals and Security+ Training and Certification Prep
February 21 - June 5 • Online with live online sessions • February 21-April 17 the live online sessions will be held via Zoom on Saturdays from 6-7pm; from April 18 - June 5 the live online sessions will be held via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm.
Prerequisite: 1-2 years prior IT experience, successfully passed the CompTIA A+ or IT Fundamentals Certification Exam or have successfully passed the Introduction to IT and A+ Certification Exam Prep course offered at Kapiʻolani Community College.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Training and Certification Prep
February 21 - June 5 • Online with live online sessions twice a month on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm
Prerequisite: 3-5 years of prior project management experience. To be eligible to take the PMP Certification Exam you will need a four-year degree and 36 months of experience leading projects AND 35 hours of project management training OR a high school diploma or an associate degree and 60 months of experience leading projects AND 35 hours of project management training.
