CG Family,

We are excited to inform you that CSISD has adopted the program, Character Strong K-12. Here you will find family newsletters for both 5th grade and 6th grade. We will be kicking off our Character Strong program on Monday, October 16. 5th and 6th grade focus on different concepts throughout the week based on grade level appropriateness which is why there is a newsletter for each grade level. We will always kick off Character Strong on Monday with the rest of the week allowing for character lessons and Village activities.

Come Hear About The Bond

On the night of Wednesday, October 11, at 6 pm in our CG Cafeteria, we will have a district representative present information about the four school bonds that will be on the November ballot. You also will have some time to ask questions. We encourage and invite all of you to come and listen to the presentation in order to learn more about the opportunities it will provide for CSISD students. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in hearing details of what the bonds will do for our community, even if they don't have a student at our school. So feel free to invite a friend or neighbor if you know someone who is interested. The presentation will be the first part of the PTO meeting, right at 6:00 pm.

Leadership CSISD 23-24

Greetings CSISD Community!

Enrollment for the 2023-2024 class of Leadership CSISD is now open. Leadership CSISD allows parents, community leaders and business partners the ability to get an “up-close and personal” look at how the district operates. We want you to be a part of the next class of Leadership CSISD.

Being a part of Leadership CSISD is a great opportunity for you to get a behind the scenes look at how the district functions and to learn more about our great district. Click the link to view the schedule for this year to see the variety of areas we cover.

MAP Scores/Report Cards

Beginning of the year MAP scores are headed home on Friday, 9/29, but if you haven't seen them, ask your student for the paper copy as we handed it out this week. Also, if you opted in for paper report cards, you should also have gotten that copy this week. If you opted out of paper report cards, you can find them on HAC digitally.
