From Doan's Desk....
Monarch, we are getting very close to the end of the semester. This brings about both the end of course final exams as well as the relief of a much-needed break. We hope that everyone out there is ready to step away for a couple of weeks and spend time doing whatever you need between now and the start of the new year. I have a “Principal’s Office” video update that reviews the final exam schedule (Dec 18 - Dec 22) and a thank you message at the end of my first semester as principal.

DONATE FORMAL WEAR FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We're launching a formal wear lending program to help students attend events that require formal wear without having to buy new clothing! To make this happen, we need your help!
Please consider donating gently used or new formal wear items—suits, dresses, dress shirts, dress pants, ties, shoes, and blazers. Your contributions will directly impact our students' ability to participate in memorable events and their overall success!
Please drop off your donations at the front office during school hours. We will be collecting donations throughout the rest of the year. Your support means the world to us. Please reach out to wamiles01@bvsd.org with any questions
Thank you,
Coyote Closet Team

YOTES UNDER THE STARS
Next week, Friday the 15th, students at Monarch will be hosting a drive-in movie showing Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the lower lot of Monarch High School. The movie starts at 6:00 PM but we ask that you arrive at 5:30 PM to get settled in. Admission will be $5 per person and the event will feature a local wood-fired pizza truck. All proceeds will be donated to the Louisville Food Bank and we ask that anyone able to, bring soup cans, cereal or winter coats to help give back to the community this winter. We also encourage people to bring chairs and to carpool as there is somewhat limited space and those who arrive later may not get an amazing view of the screen. There will be space in the front for anyone who wishes to sit. We look forward to seeing you there!
