CHS Students & Parents

We are so excited for the first day of school on Monday, August 14th! Please see the information below for information about the first day of school. We have a fun day planned for our Pumas so please be on time and plan for traffic during drop off times! School starts at 8:30. All students (including late start students) will report to their per. 3 class at 8:30 am. This schedule is just for Monday on the first day of school. On Tuesday, we will be on regular schedule and start with per. 1.

Wear Blue Spirit Shirt

All Pumas! Wear your blue spirit shirt on the first day of school to show your school spirit and kick off the 23-24 school year showing Puma PRIDE! If you did not purchase or pick up a Puma Pack with the blue spirit shirt, you can wear any navy blue shirt. We have a rally on the first day of school and need everyone showing school spirit!

Morning Drop Off Reminders

School begins promptly at 8:30 am. Please plan ahead and allow for traffic.


If you are dropping off in the student parking lot, please use the entrance on Nicolas Rd., drop off along the curb, and exit out through the Winchester Rd. exit (near the pool). The parking lot exit gate on Nicolas closes at 8:00 am. Trying to exit out of the gate on Nicolas after 8:00 am will cause delays and a backup to our morning traffic flow.


Other drop off areas include the visitor lot loop (no parking) and in the back loop near the stadium / entry from Roripaugh. Please DO NOT enter, park or drop off in the staff lot in the back.
