Grow the Pie
Several businesses in Excelsior Springs operate with "Grow the Pie" mentality rather than to see it as "taking out a slice of pie", and we are all better for it. According to Grow the Pie: How Great Companies Deliver Both Purpose and Profit, when you serve society and run the business with a purpose, you're not donating slices of the pie to society, you're growing the pie.
