The Westgate Wire

We are in the process of planning for next year and would like to be sure we have an accurate understanding of the students who will be attending Westgate next year. Please complete this form if your child/children will not be attending Westgate for the 21-22 school year. This does not include 5th graders who will be moving on to middle school.

As the end of the school year approaches, we wanted to remind families and students that district-issued technology devices will be collected. Especially in the case of iPad chargers, it is expected that families will return the charger provided by the district. Many teachers have already begun asking that iPad chargers be returned to school, and if your child's charger is missing, we would urge you to search for it. It is quite costly to replace the genuine Apple chargers provided with each iPad. As always, student devices should be updated, restarted, and charged to be ready for school. Thank you for your support regarding student devices.

We have had children and teenagers climbing on the storage PODs during after-school hours. Please remind your children to stay away from the PODs when they are visiting the playground area. We do not want anyone injured. Thank you!

We’re starting a new end-of-school fundraiser! The goal for this is to collect money to donate to Global Green, which is an Earth-centered nonprofit organization. Students can bring in loose change to donate and put it into a jar their teacher has given. We will collect coins until Friday, 6/4.

Help save our Earth by donating change for a Change!

The PTA will be supplying popsicles for all students during the last week of school during their last PE class of the year. Please see the ingredients below. Parents will need to contact the office if they DO NOT want their child to have a popsicle.
