Carver's Weekly Update
Week of Monday, March 20, 2023
Carver Parents/Guardians,
Students in grades 3-5 will begin Linkit testing on Tuesday, March 21. This will be our final Linkit test before students complete the state tests in May. It will be crucial for students to take the ELA and Math Linkit test seriously. The information gathered from the results of the test will assist teachers with identifying our students' strengths and areas of concern. Teachers will use the information gathered from the Linkit test to teach and review specific skills/content prior to state testing.
Parents, please help us by making sure students go to sleep on time, eat breakfast, and arrive to school on time. Our students should be "test ready" during the week of Monday, March 20.
Grade level and school incentives will be provided to students who show growth on the Linkit test from form B to form C. Please view our school incentives below.

A Snapshot of STEAM Learning at Carver!
The students in Mrs. Kremer's First Grade Class read Iggy Peck Architect. Then, they designed and made bridges to help the class get across.
A leprechaun left a scavenger hunt for Mrs. Kremer's class. The students had to work together to figure out each clue to find the gold. They also drew a leprechaun and used geo boards to make St. Patrick Day objects.
Under the direction of our music teacher, Mrs. Welch, our chorus students did an outstanding job during their spring concert!
