January Updates
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students are working on their Literacy Night performance songs. We have been working on "Green Eggs and Ham", "Pete the Cat", "Younique", and soon will begin "Mortimer".
- 2nd and 3rd Grade students have started to work on their Science Rocks songs. (Rock It, planet songs)
- Intermediate Chorus Musical new rehearsal schedule begins on 1/4/24
- Intermediate Chorus are working on "The Little Mermaid" songs and dances. Lighting and Stage Crew will not meet until February. See schedule below.
Reminders
- Please be on time for morning rehearsals. Rehearsals start at 7:20 a.m for K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. We have many students late for rehearsals and have missed many coming to rehearsals. Thank you for your support.
- Intermediate Chorus: If your student is going to miss chorus rehearsal, please send a note to the office to change their transporatation. This is a safety concern. Students can't decide to just not come to chorus rehearsal on their own and need parent consent. Thank you for helping us with procedures and safety for all our students. If your student is sick on this day, please feel free to send me an email or class dojo.
INTERMEDIATE CHORUS MEMBERS PLEASE READ HERE
A new rehearsal schedule was given to Intermediate chorus members on the last rehearsal day. Just a reminder that Lighting and Stage Crew will not meet until the end of February. All other casts members, dancers, audio, stage manager, and singers will meet every Thursday 2:30-4. Please remind your child to bring their scripts and music with them to every rehearsal

1st Grade- rehearses every Wednesday 7:20-7:50
Upper Primary Chorus
3rd Grade - rehearses every Friday 7:20-7:50 a.m.
Lower Primary Chorus Performance (K/1)
The Lower Primary Chorus will perform for VPE Literacy Night.
Thursday, March 7th
5:30-7:00 p.m.
Students will meet in the gym at 5:30 p.m. when doors open. The performance will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Upper Primary and Intermediate Choirs (2,3,4, 5)
School Performance Only. Only participating Veterans will attend the school concert. Our school and staff will occupy most of the space. Mrs. Dabney will send an invitation to our family Veterans to attend very soon. Due to space issues, only Veterans will attend this performance. We will make a video to share with all families. Thank you for your understanding.
