DISTRICT PLANNING MAY 4TH BALLOT PROPOSAL - HEADLEE RESTORATION
The West Bloomfield School District Board of Education has unanimously approved placing a 2.0 mill non-homestead millage restoration proposal on the May 4th ballot. All registered voters living in the West Bloomfield School District can vote on this proposal.
The proposal seeks to restore the school district’s non-homestead millage to the level
originally approved by voters in 2014. If the May 4th millage proposal is approved,
there will be no change in taxes on primary residences. (The non-homestead millage
applies primarily to businesses, vacant land, rental properties and second homes. It
does NOT apply to the home in which a resident lives.)
For more information, visit the www.wbsd.org/elections or contact the Assistant Superintendent for Business & Operations, Kyle Anderson at elections@wbsd.org or (248) 865-6434.

It will reopen on Wednesday, May 5, at 10AM.
The West Bloomfield Township Main Library and Westacres Branch are open for Phase 3 services.
In Phase 3, our priorities continue to be the health and safety of staff, users and the community at large and providing convenient access to collections of materials in all formats. An additional goal of Phase 3 is providing access to the Library’s public computers, scanners and printers, equipment that we recognize not everyone in our community may have at home. Please see the Library’s website for the latest updates and temporary hours.
