Office Reminders
Hello Parents/Guardians,
If you have a child who is turning 11 years old within the next few months, now is the time to make their 11-year well-check appointment. At this appointment, they will be receiving their 11/12 year Tdap and Meningitis immunizations. You will be receiving a notification letter from me, as a reminder, when these immunizations are due.
I ask for your courtesy to let me know what your intentions are, so I don’t have to relentlessly call you, email and send more letters to you that receive no response.
As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1000 students’ immunization compliance is a daunting job, and for this reason alone, your help is vital. Please help me by answering that email or returning the call when I leave you a voice mail, or by responding to the letter I send you - informing me of your intended appointment date.
Thank you for helping me to help your child and, please remember, we are a team, working together for your child’s continued good health.

Volunteers and Visitors
Please be sure to bring your ID into the office when you check-in. All volunteers and visitors are scanned in and a sticker is printed for you to wear while on campus. Please stop in the office to scan your badge when you depart campus. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
Book Fair Information
I don't know if many of you know why we have our book fairs. The book fairs are used to fund our library. With those funds, we purchase new, up to date books, supplies for the library, cool shelf markers (to help students find books), etc. This year we have gone through our Non-Fiction section and taken the out dated books out. We will use the book fairs funds to purchase new Non-Fiction books that your students ask for or books that teachers will have students use for reports/projects. We have also used the funds to purchase new shelf markers. We have new A-Z dividers for our fiction sections, Dewey decimal dividers and popular Non-Fiction dividers, such as Sports, Mammals, Pets, Ocean Animals, Football, Basketball, Space, etc.
We thank you for your support with the book fairs!
